1812: Napoleon Wars

Play this game free for one hour. Click here!

Today's game up for review on bigfishgames.com is an arcade & action game. You don't see too many of those but under that genre you could get anything! This game is called 1812: Napoleon Wars & is a tower defense game. For those not familiar with a tower defense game, the best way to describe it is you have to defend your area by lining the roads with various types of defenses. This game's chosen defense is soldiers with assorted weaponry. The more effective the weapon, the higher the cost to place it on your map. You're only allowed so many places in certain spots & none of that is up to you. It's all about strategy what you buy & where you place them.

I have always been a fan of tower defense games. I've been playing games on Big Fish for over a decade & they've had quite a few of them, each unique in their own way. I have never found one of them to be as difficult as this one! I played for the full 60-minutes of free play & only made it to level 4. For the longest time, I didn't think I'd get past level 2! I do enjoy a challenge & this is one. There aren't any silly sound effects or crazy interruptions to distract you from the game play. Once you get your soldiers in place & hit that button for the battle to begin, it's on!

If you have any experience with tower defense games, 1812: Napoleon Wars is pretty easy to get into. If you don't, take your time & ease into it. You have the option to restart a level you fail. Trust me, I restarted a lot! Remember, I only made it to level 4 during the free play. LOL!

Is this game worth buying? Heck yeah! There are over 60 levels in this game, more than 30 enemies to face, 6 different weapons for you to upgrade, 5 upgrades for combat vehicles (I never even SAW a combat vehicle!) AND the seasons even change in the scenes. 1812: Napoleon Wars is a fun game that I never got bored with. That's saying something because I get bored really easy. It's only $6.99 if you're a Big Fish Game Club Member, $9.99 if you're not & quite possibly the next game I buy. Let me know what you think of this one & be sure to subscribe to my blog. You never know what I'll review next!
