Author, Coach, and Consultant Martin Leifeld to Receive the St. Louis Public Radio’s Millard S. Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award
St. Louis, MO / February 13th,
2020 - Two years after retiring from his role as
Vice-Chancellor of Advancement at UMSL, Martin Leifeld continues
to promote the growth of non-profits both locally and
nationally. A lifetime champion of philanthropy, Leifeld
will receive the St. Louis Public Radio Millard S.
Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award on April 3rd.
Recently, Martin released his
first book, Five Minutes For Fundraising, where he shares
the
advice he found most helpful in his career as he led
teams to raise over half a billion
dollars.
Upon receipt of his nomination
for the Millard S. Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award, Leifeld reflects, “ I am honored by this
unexpected recognition. St. Louis Public Radio is an essential resource for our citizens. I have
been privileged to be one of its advocates and supporters.”
The Talk Toast Taste Annual Gala
that celebrates St. Louis’ most influential people will be held on April 3rd at Four Seasons St.
Louis at 6pm. Talk Toast Taste brings together
honorees and attendees for live entertainment,
an awards ceremony, and dinner with
proceeds benefiting St. Louis Public Radio.
Martin’s work as a public
speaker, consultant, and author shares insight and experiences in charitable giving garnered from
his nearly thirty years working in philanthropy. In 2018,
Leifeld received the Association of
Fundraising Professionals’ Outstanding Fundraising
Executive Award, where his colleagues
recognized the achievements he’s made as a fundraising professional in the St. Louis
region.
